DECT-basisstation Gigaset N870E IP PRO

The Gigaset N870E IP PRO is a DECT base station designed as an extension for the Gigaset N870 Multicell system to provide flexible, secure wireless telephony in special environments. It uses DECT technology and adds two removable, adjustable external antennas with TNC connectors, allowing use of third‑party and ceiling-mounted designer antennas. The unit is compact and can be placed inside cabinets for protection against vandalism, while antennas can be routed via cables to outdoor, production or parking areas. The N870E IP PRO supports seamless roaming and handover and is compatible with many virtual and IP-based phone systems.

Advantages

The device combines proven DECT Multicell functionality with flexible antenna options for improved coverage in outdoor spaces, production buildings, corridors, stairwells and car parks. External antennas and TNC connectors enable individual alignment and use of third‑party antennas. Installation is simple and does not require special outdoor housings or heaters because the base unit can be placed outside the controlled environment while antennas remain separate. The N870E IP PRO supports modern security protocols and common voice codecs for reliable, high-quality calls and integrates with existing phone systems and Microsoft Teams via auto-provisioning.
