DeLOCK 60061 kabel-gender-changer M12 RJ-45 zwart

The DeLOCK 60061 Cable Gender Changer M12 RJ-45 is an industrial Ethernet adapter that connects devices with M12 connectors to standard RJ-45 network interfaces. With gold-plated contacts and a compact black housing, the adapter is designed for reliable data transmission and convenient installation in environments such as switch cabinets, machine control systems and automation setups.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple interface conversion between M12 and RJ-45 connectors while gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. Its compact dimensions and robust construction suit installation in confined spaces like switch cabinets and industrial enclosures. The black finish and standard connector types ensure broad compatibility with existing network cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting M12-equipped sensors or actuators to RJ-45 network devices
• Integration of field devices into machine control and automation networks
• Installation inside switch cabinets and industrial control panels
• Temporary or permanent adaptation of cabling during maintenance or upgrades

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plug into the RJ-45 port of the network device and screw or connect the M12 connector to the M12 counterpart on the field device. Ensure connectors are properly aligned before mating and tighten any locking mechanism according to the device specifications. After connection, verify link/activity LEDs on network equipment and test data transmission to confirm a stable connection.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, electrically safe environments and avoid excessive bending or mechanical stress on connected cables. Confirm M12 pinout compatibility between devices before use to prevent miswiring. For long-term installations in harsh environments, consider additional strain relief or protective routing inside the switch cabinet.
