DeLOCK 64171 Laptop-dock USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C 85W Grijs

The DeLOCK 64171 is a compact USB hub and laptop dock with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-C) host interface. It provides up to three USB Type-A ports and one HDMI output that supports a maximum resolution of 4K at 30 Hz. The hub includes a USB Type-C Power Delivery (USB PD 3.0) port with support up to 85 W to charge a connected laptop or tablet, and it can also be used without an external power supply. Its grey, sturdy housing and small dimensions make it suitable for travel and mobile work.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 64171 combines multiple connectivity options—USB Type-A ports, an HDMI output and a USB-C PD input—into a single compact unit, reducing the need for separate adapters. USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates ensure fast transfer speeds for connected peripherals, while HDMI output delivers display support up to 4K 30 Hz. The 85 W Power Delivery enables charging of laptops and tablets through the hub. The solid housing and small footprint improve portability and durability for on-the-go use.

How to use

Connect the DeLOCK 64171 to a host device using the built-in USB Type-C plug. Plug USB Type-A peripherals into the available Type-A ports and connect an external monitor to the HDMI output. The hub also functions without an external power adapter for basic peripheral connectivity.

Recommendations

For stable video output at 4K 30 Hz, use a high-quality HDMI cable and ensure the host device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C. When charging laptops near the 85 W limit, use a power adapter that meets the laptop manufacturer's specifications to ensure proper charging and thermal management.
