DELOCK 64316 videokabeladapter USB Type-C naar HDMI + DisplayPort, 0,15 m, aluminium, grijs

DELOCK 64316 is a compact 0.15 m aluminium video cable adapter that converts a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort alternate mode into a combined HDMI and DisplayPort output. The Dualport design accepts either an HDMI or a DisplayPort plug, enabling connection of monitors, TVs or projectors up to 8K resolution at up to 120 Hz with HDR support. The adapter is compatible with laptops and devices featuring USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 ports.

Advantages

The adapter provides a space-saving, short connection cable in a grey aluminium housing for reliable signal transmission. Its combo female port (HDMI + DisplayPort) allows flexibility when connecting different external displays without swapping adapters. Support for up to 7680 x 4320 at 120 Hz and HDR ensures compatibility with high-resolution displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop with USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode) to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Connecting a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 device to a DisplayPort-equipped monitor or projector
• Portable setups where a very short, durable adapter cable is required

When it may not be suitable

The adapter requires a host device that supports DisplayPort alternate mode over USB-C; it will not provide video output from plain USB-C ports without DP Alt Mode. It also provides a single external video output at a time—only one of HDMI or DisplayPort can be connected and used simultaneously.

• Connector B: Combo HDMI + DisplayPort (straight female)
• Maximum resolution: up to 7680 x 4320 pixels at 120 Hz

How to use

Plug the USB Type-C male connector into a compatible laptop or device that supports DisplayPort alternate mode or into a Thunderbolt 3/4 port. Insert either an HDMI or a DisplayPort cable into the adapter’s combo female port and connect the other end to the display. Set the display resolution and refresh rate in the host device’s operating system to match the connected monitor capabilities.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your host device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C or a Thunderbolt 3/4 port
• Check the display’s supported resolution and refresh rate to ensure compatibility
• Ensure you only connect either an HDMI or a DisplayPort cable at one time

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality HDMI or DisplayPort cables rated for the target resolution and refresh rate. Adjust the host display settings if output is limited, and verify firmware or driver updates for the device if needed.
