DeLOCK actief optisch USB-C video + data + PD-kabel 3 m USB 3.2 Gen 2

This Delock USB-C cable provides a direct connection between a device with a USB Type-C connector and a PC or laptop with an available USB Type-C port. It is an active optical cable that uses optical fiber to transmit high-speed signals, offering a thinner, lighter and more flexible alternative to traditional copper cables while enabling longer transmission distances without signal loss.

Advantages

The cable supports DisplayPort 1.4 with 2 lanes for video transmission, allowing connection of a USB-C monitor at resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 @ 144 Hz) when the host device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. It provides USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices. The cable also supports USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A), enabling charging or powering of connected devices. Both ends use USB Type-C connectors and the cable is 3 m long and black in colour.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or PC with USB-C DP Alt Mode to a USB-C monitor
• High-speed data transfer between USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatible devices
• Powering or charging devices requiring up to 60 W via USB Power Delivery
• Setups that require a longer, flexible cable run with reduced signal loss

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB Type-C
• Connector 2: USB Type-C
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Video: DisplayPort 1.4 (2 lanes), up to 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 @ 144 Hz (requires DP Alt Mode)
• Power Delivery: up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one USB Type-C end to the host device (PC or laptop) that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode or USB data, and connect the other USB Type-C end to the target device such as a USB-C monitor or peripheral. For video output, ensure the host device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C. For maximum data throughput, use USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatible ports on both ends. To deliver power, confirm the PD capability of the host or power source and that the connected device accepts up to 60 W.

Recommendations

Use this active optical cable where longer cable runs or reduced weight and flexibility are required compared with copper cables. Verify that connected devices support DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video and that USB Power Delivery and USB 3.2 Gen 2 are supported as needed. This cable is not compatible with Thunderbolt devices.
