DeLOCK actieve optische kabel DisplayPort 1.4 8K 70 m

This DeLOCK Active Optical Cable DisplayPort 1.4 8K 70 m is an active optical DisplayPort cable designed to connect DisplayPort-equipped devices such as monitors or TVs to a PC or laptop. The cable supports DisplayPort 1.4 signals up to 8K resolution over a long distance and has a slim 5.4 mm diameter. It is halogen-free and intended for reliable video transmission over extended runs.

Advantages

The active optical design enables transmission of high-resolution DisplayPort 1.4 signals over long distances with minimal signal loss. The 70 m length allows flexible placement of displays relative to source devices. Slim 5.4 mm diameter improves cable routing in tight spaces, and the halogen-free construction reduces toxic emissions in case of fire.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a distant monitor or TV
• Large meeting rooms, lecture halls or conference centres requiring long display runs
• Digital signage installations where the source and display are far apart

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC or laptop) and the other connector to the display device (monitor or TV). Ensure both devices support the required DisplayPort input/output and set the display resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or display settings as needed. Route the slim cable along the most convenient path, avoiding sharp bends or excessive pulling force.

Recommendations

For best results, verify that both source and display support DisplayPort 1.4 and the intended 8K resolution. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and secure the cable to prevent strain. For professional installations, test the full video signal and EDID configuration before finalising the cable routing.
