DELOCK actieve optische kabel DisplayPort 2.1 8K 60 Hz 40 Gbps 15 m

DELOCK Active Optical Cable DisplayPort 2.1 8K 60 Hz 40 Gbps 15 m is an active DisplayPort 2.1 video cable that converts electrical DisplayPort signals into optical transmission for long-distance, low-loss connectivity between a DisplayPort source and a compatible display. The cable supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and a maximum data bandwidth of 40 Gbps, making it suitable for high-resolution monitors, professional workstations and AV installations that require reliable, high-bandwidth video links over extended runs.

Advantages

The active optical design reduces signal attenuation and electromagnetic interference compared to long copper-only cables, ensuring stable image and color transmission across the full 15 m length. Support for DisplayPort 2.1 features and a 40 Gbps data rate enables high-resolution, high-fidelity video and multi-stream transport where supported by source and display devices. The single-cable solution simplifies installation and reduces cable bulk in professional and AV environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting high-resolution monitors in professional graphics, CAD or video editing workstations
• AV installations and digital signage where long cable runs are required
• Multi-monitor setups and docking stations that accept DisplayPort 2.1 inputs
• Gaming PCs and consoles that support DisplayPort 2.1 at high bandwidth

Key specifications

• Standard: DisplayPort 2.1 compatible active optical cable
• Maximum resolution: up to 8K (7680 × 4320) at 60 Hz
• Maximum data bandwidth: 40 Gbps
• Length: 15 meters
• Transmission: electrical-to-optical conversion for reduced signal loss over long distances
• Connector type: DisplayPort (male-to-male)

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, workstation, docking station or compatible GPU) and the other connector to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate; adjust display settings in the operating system or GPU control panel as needed. Allow the system to negotiate link capabilities; active optical cables do not require external power in normal operation beyond the DisplayPort power supplied by the source.

Recommendations

For best results, verify that both source and display hardware support DisplayPort 2.1 features and the target resolution/refresh rate. Avoid tight bending near the connector areas and secure the cable to prevent stress. When used in professional AV or permanent installations, test the full video chain (source, cable, display) at the intended settings before final installation.
