DELOCK actieve optische kabel DisplayPort 2.1 8K 60Hz 40Gbps, 20 m

DELOCK Active Optical Cable DisplayPort 2.1 8K 60Hz 40Gbps, 20 m is a long-reach DisplayPort 2.1 cable designed to transmit high-resolution video and multi-channel audio over extended distances without signal loss. The cable implements active optical technology to maintain stable bandwidth and image quality for compatible PCs, workstations and displays. It supports up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz and a total data throughput of 40 Gbps, making it suitable for professional video, multi-monitor installations and environments where cable length and signal integrity are critical.

Advantages

The active optical design ensures minimal signal degradation over the full 20 m length, preserving image fidelity and color accuracy at high resolutions. By using DisplayPort 2.1 specification and a 40 Gbps data path, the cable supports high frame rates and wide color formats for demanding visual workflows. The single-cable solution simplifies installations by removing the need for repeaters or extenders while maintaining low latency and reliable audio/video transmission between source and display.

Suitable for

• Long-distance connections between PCs or workstations and monitors or projectors
• Professional video editing and color grading setups requiring 8K/60Hz output
• Multi-monitor workstations and financial or trading desks with extended cable runs
• Conference rooms, lecture halls and digital signage where concealed or long cable runs are needed

Key specifications

• Interface standard: DisplayPort 2.1 compatible
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K (7680 × 4320) at 60 Hz
• Data bandwidth: up to 40 Gbps
• Cable length: 20 m
• Transmission type: active optical cable for long-distance digital signal transmission
• Audio support: multi-channel digital audio passthrough
• Connector type: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort male connector on one end of the cable to the DisplayPort output of the source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input of the monitor or projector. Ensure both devices support DisplayPort 2.1 or compatible DisplayPort standards for full feature availability. Route the cable carefully to avoid tight bends; active optical cables require gentle handling around connectors and should not be sharply kinked. After connection, configure the source display settings to the desired resolution and refresh rate, and verify audio routing if multi-channel audio is required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that both source and display devices support the required DisplayPort features and bandwidth for 8K/60Hz operation. Avoid extreme bending radii near the connectors and prevent exposure to excessive heat or moisture. If using in a professional environment, test the full signal chain (source, cable, display) before permanent installation to confirm expected resolution and color settings.
