DeLOCK adapter adapter USB 2.0 Type-A bus naar bus metaal

The DeLOCK Adapter Gender Changer USB 2.0 Type-A female to female metal converts a USB Type-A male connection into a female Type-A port. It has two USB Type-A female connectors in a durable metal housing and is intended to enable connections between devices or to extend existing USB cabling where both ends are Type-A female.

Advantages

Durable metal casing provides mechanical protection and stable contact. Two USB Type-A female connectors allow direct joining of cables or devices with male Type-A plugs. Compatible with USB 2.0 signalling for standard data transfer rates and backwards-compatible with common USB devices. Compact and lightweight design for easy placement and transport.

Suitable for

• Extending a USB connection using two male Type-A cables
• Connecting devices that have only USB Type-A male plugs to a Type-A female receptacle
• Temporary or stationary setups where a female-to-female adapter is required

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB Type-A (female)
• Connector 2: USB Type-A (female)
• USB version: 2.0
• Product colour: Black
• Housing: metal

How to use

Insert a male USB Type-A plug into each of the adapter's female Type-A ports. Ensure plugs are fully inserted to establish reliable contact. Use the adapter only with USB 2.0 or compatible devices and cables. Avoid applying excessive force or bending the connected cables to prevent damage to connectors.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for short extension or connection purposes. For longer runs or where signal integrity is critical, prefer a single continuous cable or an active USB extender, as passive adapters may introduce additional connection points that can affect performance.
