DeLOCK adapterkabel USB Type-C bus naar Acer 5,5 x 1,7 mm stekker 90° 15 cm

The DeLOCK adapter cable converts a USB Type-C™ connection to an Acer 5.5 x 1.7 mm male plug, enabling charging of compatible laptops from a USB-C charging cable. The compact 15 cm cable features a 90° angled male plug to reduce strain on the cable and to improve access in tight spaces. The adapter supports use with standard USB-C chargers to provide the laptop's required DC input (check laptop specifications for compatibility).

Advantages

The 90° angled 5.5 x 1.7 mm connector minimises cable bending at the laptop inlet and helps maintain a secure connection. Its short 15 cm length keeps cable routing tidy and reduces clutter when working on the go. The USB Type-C™ female socket allows the use of any compatible USB-C charging cable, so a laptop-specific charging cable is not required. The adapter is lightweight and small, making it convenient for travel.

Suitable for

• Charging Acer laptops that use a 5.5 x 1.7 mm DC input
• Using USB-C power banks or chargers to power laptops with an Acer-style barrel connector
• Working in confined spaces where a straight connector would obstruct

How to use

Connect a USB-C charging cable to the USB Type-C™ female socket of the adapter, then insert the 5.5 x 1.7 mm male plug into the laptop's DC input. Ensure the USB-C power source can supply the laptop's required voltage and current (the adapter is intended for laptops with a nominal input around 19.5 V; verify your laptop's specifications). Route the cable so the angled plug sits flush and avoids undue stress on the connector.

Recommendations

Use only USB-C chargers or power sources that meet your laptop's voltage and current requirements. Inspect the adapter and connectors for damage before use and avoid excessive force when inserting or removing the plug to prolong lifespan.
