Delock D-Type module afdekplaat zwart/transparant – automatische stofbeschermkap met veerbelaste klep

Typical blanking plates and adhesive dust caps leave ports either permanently blocked or vulnerable to lost covers. This Delock protection flap takes a different approach: it snaps directly onto any standard D-type module and adds an automatic spring-loaded transparent door. Every unused port stays sealed until the moment you need it — no lost caps, no fumbling, just push and connect.

Highlights

• Automatic spring-loaded flap closes instantly when the cable is removed, providing continuous dust and mechanical protection.
• Transparent flap allows visual identification of the module type without opening the cover.
• Snap-on installation fits standard D-type module cutouts — no tools, screws, or adhesives required.
• Durable black plastic body with transparent flap, suitable for industrial, IT, audio/video, and network installations.
• Reusable and maintenance-free; one piece per pack.

In daily use

Install the flap over any unused D-type module in a patch panel, wall plate, or surface-mount box. The spring mechanism keeps the flap closed when the port is not in use, blocking dust, debris, and accidental contact. When you need to connect a cable, simply push the flap open with the connector — after unplugging, it snaps back automatically. The transparent window lets you see the module colour or label, so you can identify the port type at a glance. Ideal for protecting RJ45, USB, HDMI, and other D-type modules in offices, workshops, and high-traffic areas.
