DeLOCK kabelwartel 90° gehoekt PG21 grijs trekontlasting

The DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG21 in grey provides a watertight lead-through for cables and electrical conduits while changing the cable direction by 90°. Its angled design is suitable for installations with limited space. The gland is made of durable plastic and comes with an integrated strain relief spiral to protect flexible cables from excessive bending. The product is intended for secure cable management in industrial and automation environments.

Advantages

The angled PG21 cable gland ensures a space-saving cable entry and creates an IP68 dust- and waterproof seal. The built-in bend protection spiral offers strain relief to reduce stress on cables, for example near moving machine parts. The robust plastic construction enables multifunctional application across machinery, robotics and automation systems.

Suitable for

• Cable lead-throughs in control cabinets and housings
• Applications with restricted installation space requiring a 90° entry
• Automation equipment, robotics and industrial machinery
• Environments needing IP68 dust- and waterproof connections

How to use

Drill or prepare a PG21-sized entry in the housing and insert the cable gland from the outside or inside depending on the application. Route the cable through the gland and tighten the nut to compress the seal and achieve the IP68 protection. Position the bend protection spiral on the cable where it requires strain relief to prevent excessive bending. Ensure that the gland is tightened according to the enclosure material to maintain a watertight fit.

Recommendations

Use the cable gland where a sealed, angled cable entry is required. Check cable diameter compatibility with PG21 thread and avoid overtightening to prevent damage to the gland or housing. For dynamic applications near moving parts, ensure the strain relief spiral is correctly seated to extend cable life.
