DeLOCK kabelwartel 90° gehoekt PG9 zwart met trekontlasting

The DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG9 black strain relief provides a watertight cable entry and secure cable management for housings and control cabinets. Its 90° angled design is intended for use where space is limited, and the integrated strain relief reduces stress on flexible cables. Made from durable black plastic, the gland is suitable for applications that require reliable protection against bending and environmental contamination.

Advantages

The angled shape enables cable routing in confined installation areas while maintaining a sealed connection. A bend protection spiral provides additional strain relief to prevent excessive bending of flexible cables, for example near moving machine parts. The gland is rated IP68 for dust and waterproof protection, increasing resistance to dirt and moisture. The robust construction supports use in industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Cable lead-throughs in control cabinets and housings with limited space
• Industrial automation and machinery installations
• Robotics systems where cable protection and strain relief are required
• Indoor and outdoor applications needing IP68 protection

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG9
• Manufacturer: DELOCK, MPN: 60569, EAN: 4043619605699
• Colour: Black
• Type: Angled cable gland with strain relief (bend protection spiral)
• Protection rating: IP68 (dust and waterproof)

How to use

Drill or prepare a PG9-sized cable entry in the housing or panel and insert the angled cable gland so the sealing face sits flush. Route the cable through the gland and tighten the locking nut according to the enclosure material to achieve a watertight seal. Position the bend protection spiral over the cable to provide strain relief and prevent excessive bending near the gland, especially where moving parts are present.

Recommendations

For reliable sealing and strain relief, ensure the cable diameter matches PG9 specifications and tighten the gland to the manufacturer’s recommended torque. Inspect the sealing and strain relief after installation and periodically in harsh environments to maintain IP68 protection.
