DeLOCK kabelwartel 90° haaks PG13.5 zwart trekontlasting

This cable gland by Delock provides a watertight seal for housings while allowing cables and electrical conduits to pass through. The 90° angled design enables installation in areas with limited space and directs cable routing along the enclosure surface. Constructed from durable black plastic, the gland offers corrosion-resistant mechanical protection for cable entry points.

Advantages

The integrated bend protection spiral provides strain relief, securing flexible cables and protecting them from excessive bending, for example where moving machine parts are present. The gland meets IP68 requirements for dust and waterproofing, increasing protection against dirt and moisture. Its robust build and compact right-angle shape make it suitable for industrial environments and applications that require confined routing and reliable sealing.

Suitable for

• Cable and conduit lead-throughs in control cabinets and enclosures
• Automation systems and robotics where space is limited
• Machinery with moving parts requiring strain relief
• Outdoor or damp environments needing IP68 protection

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 60585
• EAN: 4043619605859
• Type: 90° angled cable gland with strain relief
• Thread size: PG13.5 (as indicated in product name)

How to use

Drill or prepare the appropriate PG13.5 threaded opening in the enclosure, then insert and tighten the cable gland to form a watertight seal. Route the cable through the gland and position the bend protection spiral to cover the flexible section where strain relief is required. Ensure the gland is tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque for a reliable seal and to maintain IP68 protection.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility of the cable diameter with PG13.5 specifications before installation. For optimal strain relief, position the bend protection spiral so it supports the cable at the point of maximum flex. Periodically inspect the gland and sealing surfaces for wear or damage, especially in environments with movement, chemicals, or temperature extremes.
