DeLOCK kabelwartel 90° haaks PG16 grijs trekontlasting

This DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG16 in grey provides a watertight lead-through for cables and electrical conduits while saving space thanks to its angled design. Made of durable plastic, it secures cable entry points in automation, robotics and machinery environments and includes a screw-on strain relief for bending protection.

Advantages

The angled PG16 design enables installation in confined spaces and maintains a sealed connection to the enclosure. The screw-on strain relief fixes the cable to prevent excessive bending and displacement under vibration. Constructed from grey plastic, the gland is lightweight, robust and resistant to normal industrial handling. It is rated IP68 for dust and waterproof protection, offering increased reliability in dirty or damp environments.

Suitable for

• Cable lead-throughs in control cabinets and enclosures
• Automation and robotics equipment
• Industrial machinery with vibration or movement
• Applications requiring IP68 dust and water protection

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG16 (MPN 60598, EAN 4043619605989)
• Type: Angled cable gland, PG16 thread
• Material: Plastic
• Colour: Grey
• Protection class: IP68 (dust and waterproof)

How to use

Drill or prepare a matching PG16 hole in the enclosure, insert the angled gland from the outside and secure it according to the enclosure's threading or mounting method. Pass the cable through the gland, adjust the position and tighten the screw-on strain relief to clamp the cable and provide bending protection. Verify the seal and tighten to achieve the IP68 rating as specified, ensuring the cable remains fixed and protected against vibration and moisture.

Recommendations

For reliable sealing and strain relief, use a correctly sized PG16 hole and avoid over-tightening the plastic parts. Inspect the gland periodically in high-vibration or high-moisture environments and replace if cracks or wear are visible.
