DeLOCK Mobile Rack PCI Express-kaart voor 1 x M.2 NVMe SSD Low Profile

This DeLOCK mobile rack installs into a free PC slot and provides a single M.2 NVMe SSD bay compatible with 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 sizes. The low profile PCI Express card accepts one M.2 NVMe SSD and is designed for passive cooling and compact system integration.

Advantages

The tray supports quick SSD exchange via a special mechanism, allowing fast removal and replacement for tasks such as data backup and off-site storage. A metal carrier with top and bottom springs reduces vibration, and a keyed lock on the tray prevents unauthorized access. The card features a PCIe host interface and a male connector and is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022.

Suitable for

• Adding or swapping an M.2 NVMe SSD in desktop PCs with a free PCI slot
• Quick backups and secure off-site storage of SSDs
• Compact or low-profile systems requiring an internal M.2 NVMe bay

Key specifications

• Supported M.2 sizes: 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230
• Interface: PCI Express (host), male connector
• Supported SSD type: M.2 NVMe
• Design: low profile, metallic/black

How to use

Install the mobile rack into an available PCI Express slot in the computer following standard anti-static procedures. Insert a compatible M.2 NVMe SSD into the tray and ensure it is fully seated before closing the tray. Use the keyed lock to secure the tray if physical protection is required. When exchanging drives, unlock and remove the tray using the built-in mechanism, replace the SSD, then fully reinsert the tray to restore connection.

Recommendations

Ensure the tray is fully inserted before powering the system; incomplete insertion will prevent the SSD from connecting. Handle the M.2 SSD and tray with care to avoid ESD damage and ensure springs and locking mechanism are functioning correctly to reduce vibration and protect the drive.
