DeLOCK Thunderbolt 4-kabel 40 Gbps PD 3.1 240 W 1 m zwart

The DeLOCK Thunderbolt 4 Cable is a universal high-performance cable designed for modern workstations and peripherals. It supports Thunderbolt 4 features and transmits USB, DisplayPort, PCI Express and Ethernet signals, enabling connections to external enclosures, monitors, card readers and docking stations. The cable is 1 m long, black and compatible with devices that use Thunderbolt 4.

Advantages

This Thunderbolt 4 cable supports data transfer rates up to 40 Gbps for compatible devices while remaining backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices. It carries DisplayPort 1.4a signals, allowing connection of a single DisplayPort monitor up to 8K at 60 Hz or two monitors up to 4K at 60 Hz each. The cable also supports USB Power Delivery (USB PD 3.1) with Extended Power Range, enabling power delivery up to 240 W (48 V / 5 A).

Suitable for

• Connecting external NVMe enclosures and storage devices
• Connecting high-resolution DisplayPort monitors
• Docking stations and multiport hubs
• Card readers and PCIe peripherals via compatible docks

Key specifications

• Length: 1 m
• Interface: Thunderbolt 4
• Data rate: up to 40 Gbps
• Power delivery: USB PD 3.1 (up to 240 W / 48 V, 5 A)

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to a Thunderbolt 4 port on a computer or compatible host and the other end to a Thunderbolt 4 peripheral, monitor or docking station. If using video output, ensure the connected display supports DisplayPort 1.4a modes for the requested resolution and refresh rate. For power delivery, verify that both host and device support USB PD 3.1 and the required EPR profiles before supplying up to 240 W.

Recommendations

Use certified Thunderbolt 4 ports and compatible devices to achieve full performance. Avoid coiling the cable tightly during high-power charging or sustained high data transfer to reduce heat buildup. If a connected device does not negotiate the expected features, check cable endpoints and device firmware for compatibility.
