DeLOCK USB-kabel USB 3.2 Gen 2 3m USB-C zwart 84246

This USB cable by Delock enables the connection between a device with a USB Type-C™ connector and a PC or a laptop equipped with a free USB Type-C™ port. The DeLOCK USB Cable USB 3.2 Gen 2 3m (model 84246) is an active optical USB-C to USB-C cable 3 m long in black, designed for high-speed data transfer, DisplayPort Alternate Mode video transmission and USB Power Delivery up to 60 W.

Advantages

The active optical construction uses optical fiber to transmit high-speed signals, making the cable thinner, lighter and more flexible than traditional copper cables while enabling longer reach without signal loss. It supports DisplayPort 2.1 with 4 lanes for high-resolution video, USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps and USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A). The cable has USB-C connectors on both ends and a length of 3 m for extended reach.

Suitable for

• Connecting a USB-C monitor to a laptop or PC with DisplayPort Alternate Mode
• High-speed data transfer between USB 10 Gbps compatible devices
• Powering or charging devices that accept up to 60 W via USB Power Delivery
• Setups requiring a longer, flexible USB-C cable (3 m)

How to use

Connect one USB Type-C connector to a compatible USB-C port on your computer or docking station that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and USB 3.2 Gen 2. Connect the other USB Type-C connector to a USB-C monitor, external drive or peripheral. If the host and device support DP Alt Mode, video will be transmitted via DisplayPort 2.1; if both ends support USB 10 Gbps, data transfer will reach up to 10 Gbps. Devices that support USB Power Delivery can be powered or charged up to 60 W through the cable.

Recommendations

Use the cable only with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video; do not expect Thunderbolt compatibility. To achieve maximum video or data performance, ensure both host and device support the respective standards (DP Alt Mode for video, USB 3.2 Gen 2 for 10 Gbps data, and USB PD for power delivery).
