DeLOCK USB Type-C-splitter DP Alt Mode 1x HDMI 1x DisplayPort MST

The DeLOCK USB Type-C Splitter DP Alt Mode 1x HDMI 1x DisplayPort MST enables connection of a DisplayPort monitor and an HDMI monitor to a computer with a USB-C interface that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The splitter allows both monitors to be operated simultaneously and is built with a durable aluminium housing. It supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels and offers USB Power Delivery to deliver power to connected devices.

Advantages

This splitter functions as a Multi-Stream Transport (MST) hub, allowing extended desktop configurations for DisplayPort. It supports USB Power Delivery (USB PD 3.0) up to 100 W (20 V / 5 A) for powering compatible devices. The compact, grey aluminium design provides robust build quality and easy integration into desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting one HDMI and one DisplayPort monitor to a USB-C laptop or PC
• Extending the desktop across multiple displays using DisplayPort MST
• Workstations requiring 4K (3840 x 2160) video output
• Setups that need USB Power Delivery to charge or power a connected laptop/device

How to use

Connect the splitter to a host device using a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Attach one HDMI and one DisplayPort monitor to the corresponding outputs. Configure the displays in the operating system; on Windows, each connected monitor can be controlled individually and combined into an extended desktop via MST. If required, connect a USB-C power source to enable USB Power Delivery to the host device.

Recommendations

Use with a host device that explicitly supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C and ensure that cables and monitors support the intended resolutions. For best results with extended desktop configurations on Windows, update graphics drivers and use quality HDMI/DisplayPort cables rated for the required bandwidth.
