HDMI-converter Delta Energy Systems HDMI-OFT-20IR 20 m met IR-ondersteuning

The Delta Energy Systems HDMI-OFT-20IR is an HDMI converter designed to extend HDMI audio and video signals over a 20 m link with integrated IR support. It enables transmission of high-quality HDMI content where longer cable runs are required while preserving the ability to control source devices remotely using infrared passthrough. The unit is intended for professional and commercial AV setups such as meeting rooms, digital signage and other fixed installations that require extended HDMI connectivity and remote control functionality.

Advantages

The converter offers stable HDMI signal extension up to 20 m while maintaining compatibility with standard HDMI sources and displays. Integrated IR support provides two-way infrared passthrough so users can operate remote controls from the display side. The device's form factor and connectivity simplify installation in structured AV environments, and its design focuses on reliable signal transmission without introducing unnecessary complexity.

Suitable for

• Meeting rooms and conference halls that require extended HDMI routing
• Digital signage installations in retail, hospitality or public spaces
• Classroom AV setups and training facilities
• Boardrooms and corporate offices with remote source control needs

Key specifications

• HDMI signal extension distance: up to 20 m
• IR support: integrated infrared passthrough for remote control
• Supported signals: HDMI audio and video transmission
• Intended use: fixed AV installations and structured cabling environments

How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the converter's input and the display to the converter's output, following standard HDMI cabling practices. Route the 20 m link between source and display while ensuring correct orientation of IR emitters and receivers for remote control passthrough. Provide power to the unit as specified by the installation documentation and verify signal integrity on the connected display. Adjust IR emitter placement if remote control commands are not reliably received by the source device.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use quality shielded HDMI and extension cables and avoid running cables alongside high-power electrical wiring. Position IR emitters and receivers with clear line-of-sight where possible and verify compatibility of connected HDMI devices. In complex installations, test the complete signal path and IR control before finalizing cable routing and mounting.
