Verrekijker Deltaoptical Chase 10x42 ED — 10× vergroting, 42 mm objectief

Deltaoptical Chase 10x42 ED binoculars provide 10× magnification combined with 42 mm objective lenses and extra-low dispersion (ED) glass to improve sharpness and reduce chromatic aberration. The design targets daytime field use such as birdwatching, hiking and general outdoor observation, offering a balance between reach and light-gathering capability to reveal finer details at distance.

Advantages

The ED glass elements help deliver improved color fidelity and edge-to-edge clarity compared with standard roof-prism optics. A 10× magnification gives extended viewing range while maintaining a stable image for handheld use. The 42 mm objectives collect sufficient light for clear images in varied daylight conditions, and the compact, ergonomic housing is intended for comfortable handling during prolonged observation sessions.

Suitable for

• Birdwatching and wildlife observation
• Hiking, trekking and outdoor recreation
• Travel and sightseeing
• Sporting events and outdoor performances
• General nature study and fieldwork

Key specifications

• Magnification: 10×
• Objective diameter: 42 mm
• Optical design: roof prism with ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements
• Field of view: designed for wide-angle observation (manufacturer specification applies)
• Focus system: central focusing mechanism
• Eyecups: adjustable for use with or without eyeglasses
• Construction: compact, ergonomic body suitable for handheld use

How to use

Adjust the interpupillary distance by folding the barrels until you see a single circular field of view. Set the diopter on the right eyepiece to match your eyesight by focusing on a high-contrast object at moderate distance, then use the central focus wheel to fine-tune. For steady images at 10× magnification, brace your arms against your body or use a monopod/tripod adapter if prolonged observation is planned. Store the binoculars in a protective case when not in use and clean the lenses with a microfiber cloth and appropriate optical cleaner.

Recommendations

Use these binoculars during daylight or bright twilight for best results; ED glass improves detail and color rendering but does not change lighting requirements. For long observation periods, consider a strap or tripod mounting to reduce fatigue and maintain stable images.
