DIGITUS 2D barcode handscanner QR-code Bluetooth met houder

The DIGITUS® Battery-Operated 2D Barcode Scanner is a high-resolution handheld scanner designed for retail, logistics and general commerce. It reliably reads 1D and 2D codes, including barcodes and QR codes, and supports both Bluetooth wireless and USB cable connections. The device is dust-protected and water-resistant (IP54) and features a silicone cover for additional impact protection, making it suitable for continuous professional use.

Advantages

Precise scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes, including high-resolution codes and QR codes displayed on screens. Flexible connectivity via Bluetooth or USB cable. Fast, bidirectional detection with up to 200 scans per second and wide scan angles for quicker capture. Anti-interference design ensures external light sources do not affect scanning performance. Visual and audible feedback confirms each scan. Durable construction with IP54 protection and a silicone cover that absorbs shocks.

Key specifications

• Scan types: 1D and 2D (barcodes and QR codes)
• Connection: Bluetooth® wireless and USB cable
• Scan speed: up to 200 scans per second, bidirectional
• Screen reading: supports QR codes on displays

How to use

Connect the scanner to your system using Bluetooth pairing or a USB cable according to your setup. Aim the scanner at the barcode or QR code and trigger a scan; the device will provide visual and audible confirmation when the code is read. For mobile payments, position the phone display so the QR code is visible to the scanner. Use the automatic mode for hands-free scanning when needed and switch to manual operation for single-item scans.

Recommendations

Use Bluetooth for flexible, wireless operation in retail or logistics environments and USB when a stable wired connection is preferred. Keep the silicone cover in place to maintain impact protection and regularly clean the scanner window to ensure high-resolution codes are read reliably. Avoid exposing the device to conditions beyond IP54 specifications.
