Handheld barcodescanner Zebra DS2278 — 1D/2D-ledscanner, Bluetooth en USB, Li‑Ion 2400 mAh, IP42, 214 g

The DS2200 Series offers an affordable 1D/2D imager for point-of-sale environments, enabling quick capture of both traditional linear barcodes and modern 2D codes found on products, printed or electronic coupons, and loyalty cards. Available in corded (DS2208) and cordless (DS2278) models, the series is designed to integrate into existing checkout workflows while maintaining reliable scanning performance without added complexity.

Advantages

The DS2200 Series combines price-conscious design with full 1D/2D scanning capability so merchants can handle all barcode formats at the register. It addresses limitations of legacy 1D-only scanners, reduces exceptions at checkout, and offers choices in form factor (corded or cordless) to match point-of-sale requirements. The product balances affordability with straightforward deployment, ease of use, and simple management.

Suitable for

• Retail point-of-sale checkout
• Scanning printed and electronic coupons
• Loyalty card redemption and enrollment
• Small and medium-sized retail environments requiring 1D/2D capture
