Digitus 4K HDMI-adapter HDMI naar DisplayPort 0,2 m HDMI Type-A USB

The Digitus 4K HDMI Adapter (HDMI to DisplayPort) is a compact 0.2 m cable that converts an HDMI output into a DisplayPort input, enabling connection of HDMI devices such as notebooks or media players to DisplayPort displays. The adapter supports Ultra‑HD video up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and transmits multi‑channel audio, while a USB‑A lead provides auxiliary power when the HDMI source cannot supply enough current.

Advantages

This plug‑and‑play adapter converts HDMI signals to DisplayPort signals without requiring drivers or a separate power adapter in most situations. The DisplayPort plug features a locking mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection. Nickel‑plated contacts and triple braided shielding improve signal integrity and reduce contact resistance for stable transmission. The cable supports 4K resolution at 30 Hz and 7.1 channel surround audio for clear video and multi‑channel sound.

Suitable for

• Connecting a notebook or media player with HDMI output to a DisplayPort monitor
• Adding a second screen for productivity tasks (documents, spreadsheets, browsers)
• Transmitting Ultra‑HD video (up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz) and multi‑channel audio

How to use

Plug the HDMI Type A end into the HDMI output of your source device (for example a notebook or media player) and insert the DisplayPort plug into the monitor's DisplayPort input. If the HDMI source does not provide sufficient power, connect the USB‑A power lead to a USB power port. The adapter is plug‑and‑play; the display should be recognised automatically and presentable resolutions selectable in the operating system's display settings.

Recommendations

For stable 4K output at 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz ensure the HDMI source supports the required output resolution and that the DisplayPort monitor accepts the specified input. Use the USB‑A power connection only when the HDMI source cannot supply enough power. Avoid sharp bends and strong tension on the 0.2 m cable to preserve connector integrity and shielding.
