DIGITUS 4K HDMI Extender Set, HDBaseT 70 m over netwerkkabel (Cat 5E, 6, 7) UHD 4K2K/30 Hz

The DIGITUS 4K extender set with HDBaseT technology extends HDMI connections using a simple network cable between a transmitter and a receiver. It enables transmission of digital video and audio signals over long distances, supporting 4K Ultra HD (30 Hz) and resolutions up to 4096 x 2160p. The set includes a transmitter, a receiver and two bi-directional infrared units for remote control signal forwarding.

Advantages

This extender set allows placement of HDMI source and displays at flexible locations by using standard CAT network cable. It supports reliable transmission up to 70 m for HDMI signals and up to 40 m for 4K video when using a CAT6 cable. The built-in HDBaseT technology ensures stable audio and video delivery, and the supplied IR sender and receiver permit remote control of the source device from the display location.

Key specifications

• Extension distance for HDMI signals: up to 70 m (with network cable)
• 4K video extension: up to 40 m with CAT6 cable
• Supported resolution: up to 4096 x 2160p
• 4K frame rate: 30 Hz

How to use

Connect the transmitter to the HDMI source and the receiver to the display. Link transmitter and receiver with a suitable network cable (CAT6 recommended for 4K up to 40 m). Power both units according to the manufacturer instructions. Place the IR sender at the source and the IR receiver at the display to allow remote control signals to pass between locations.

Recommendations

For best results use CAT6 cable for 4K transmission and ensure connectors are properly terminated. If longer runs are required for non-4K signals, standard CAT cables can support distances up to 70 m.
