DIGITUS DisplayPort AOC hybride glasvezelkabel M/M UHD 8K@60Hz, CE, zwart 20m

This active DisplayPort AOC hybrid fiber optic cable transfers uncompressed video and audio signals at up to 8K@60Hz (UHD-2) with a maximum bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps. Hybrid construction combines fiber and copper cores with gold-plated contacts to maintain full signal integrity over longer distances while keeping the cable diameter small and the bending radius tight.

Advantages

The cable provides loss-free transmission of uncompressed HDMI/DisplayPort video and audio up to 20 m, is immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and supports HDR, HDCP 2.2, EDID and CEC. Its compact design (OD 4.8 mm) and tight bending radius (25.4 mm) enable flexible installation. High-speed active chip technology ensures very low latency and compatibility with advanced audio formats such as DTS‑HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.

Suitable for

• Home theater setups and high-resolution TVs
• Meeting rooms and conference rooms
• Office and building AV installations
• Workstations requiring high-bandwidth video transmission

Key specifications

• Maximum resolution: 8K@60Hz (UHD-2)
• Maximum bandwidth: 32.4 Gbps
• Length / maximum uncompressed transfer distance: 20 m
• Cable type: active hybrid fiber optic with copper cores
• Cable outer diameter (OD): 4.8 mm
• Minimum bending radius: 25.4 mm
• Supported standards: DisplayPort 1.4, HDCP 2.2, EDID, CEC
• Audio support: DTS‑HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD (uncompressed audio formats)

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort connectors to the source device and display; the active cable is plug-and-play and does not require additional drivers or power sources. Ensure both ends are fully inserted and avoid sharp bends below the minimum bending radius to maintain optical integrity. For optimal performance, use within the specified 20 m uncompressed range and verify that connected devices support the required DisplayPort and HDCP/HDR standards.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable with gentle curves, avoid tight kinks, and confirm display and source compatibility with 8K@60Hz and HDCP 2.2. Use in environments where EMI immunity and a compact cable profile are beneficial.
