Netwerkkabel ASSMANN Electronic DK-1617-010S RJ-45 Cat6 1 m grijs

The ASSMANN Electronic DK-1617-010S RJ-45 Cat6 1m Grey is a 1-metre networking cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections. Built to the Cat6 standard with U/UTP shielding and equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this grey cable supports high-speed data transmission for home and office networks. It is suitable for short runs between devices such as routers, switches, patch panels and desktops where a compact, neat connection is required.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable offers consistent performance over its 1 m length with standardized RJ-45 terminations that ensure compatibility with common networking equipment. The U/UTP shielding helps reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in typical indoor environments. The neutral grey colour provides a discreet visual appearance when installed in residential or commercial settings.

Suitable for

• Connecting router to switch or modem for short distances
• Patch connections in small office or home racks
• Linking desktop PC or workstation to a network outlet
• Temporary setups for testing or configuration tasks

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall sheath)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until a click confirms a secure fit. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and maintain a short, direct routing between connected equipment. When used in patch panels or wall outlets, ensure connectors are fully seated and strain relief measures are applied where available.

Recommendations

For sustained performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power cables and large electric motors. Use the 1 m length for short links to minimize excess slack; if longer runs are required, select an appropriately longer Cat6 cable.
