DIGITUS patchkabel - CAT6 - S/FTP - afgeschermd - 2m - zwart

The Digitus CAT 6 S-FTP patch cable (2 m, black) provides future-oriented standards and high-end quality for wired networks. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP shielding, the cable is designed for reliable signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. It is suitable for use in network cabinets and for wiring DSL telephone systems.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding improves noise immunity and supports stable data transfer. Robust RJ-45 plugs with strain relief and kink protection increase connector durability and simplify installation. The 2 m length offers flexibility for typical home and office setups while the black jacket provides a discreet appearance.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and network devices in cabinets
• Wiring DSL telephone systems and network outlets
• Short to medium-length connections in home and office environments

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors fully into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, patch panels, routers or DSL equipment until they click. Ensure strain relief is seated to avoid sharp bends near the connector. Route the cable through the cabinet or along cable channels to prevent interference and mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and high electromagnetic noise sources. Use the cable for horizontal and patch connections up to 2 m; for longer runs select an appropriate CAT 6 or higher cable length.
