Digitus vooraf geassembleerde glasvezel universele breakoutkabel OM4 8 vezels LC/UPC 75 m

The Digitus Pre-assembled Fiberglass Universal Breakout Cable OM4 8 Fibers LC/UPC 75m is a factory-terminated multimode fiber cable designed for high-speed network connections. It delivers eight individually protected OM4 fibers with LC/UPC plugs, a 50 µm core diameter and a 75 m standard length, ready for immediate installation in indoor and outdoor applications.

Advantages

This pre-assembled breakout fiberglass cable saves installation time by eliminating onsite splicing and offers high-quality, factory-mounted LC/UPC connectors. The robust cable construction provides mechanical protection for each fiber and supports use in network cabinets without potential differences. Included measurement documentation facilitates verification and reduces follow-up testing effort. Standard lengths are available from stock for fast deployment.

Suitable for

• High-density patch panel connections
• Backbone and horizontal cabling in data centres and enterprise networks
• Indoor and outdoor fiber runs where mechanical protection is required
• Plug & Play installations and partial patch panel upgrades

How to use

Route the pre-assembled breakout cable to the required locations and insert the LC/UPC connectors into the corresponding patch panel or transceiver ports. No additional splicing is required. Use the two-sided insertion tool supplied, if needed, to secure connectors reliably. Follow standard fiber-handling practices: avoid tight bends, secure the cable to prevent strain, and ensure clean connector end faces before mating.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, store and install the cable within manufacturer-recommended bend radius limits and protect termination points from contamination. Refer to the included measurement report to confirm link parameters after installation.
