DisplayPort-kabel helos 288444 8K 2,0 m zwart

Helos PREMIUM DisplayPort cable (2.0 m) with a Mini DisplayPort (male) to DisplayPort (male) connection provides a single-cable digital video and audio link for compatible PCs, monitors and graphics cards. The cable supports DisplayPort 1.4 features including Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2 and Multi-Stream Transport (MST), and is designed for high-resolution displays up to 8K UHD (7680 x 4320) at up to 120 Hz. The connectors feature gold plating and an aluminium housing; the jacket is made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The cable is DPCP-compliant and supports HDR10 and 3D video as well as Dolby and DTS-HD Master Audio formats.

Advantages

The cable supports very high resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K at 120 Hz with DSC 1.2, while retaining audio formats such as Dolby and DTS-HD Master Audio. Its aluminium connector housings and gold-plated contacts improve mechanical robustness and signal reliability. Support for DisplayPort MST enables multi-monitor configurations from a single output, and compliance with DisplayPort 1.4 ensures compatibility with modern graphics cards and displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs or laptops with Mini DisplayPort outputs to DisplayPort monitors
• High-resolution displays up to 8K UHD for professional or home workstations
• Multi-monitor setups using DisplayPort MST

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the Mini DisplayPort output on your laptop or PC and the 20-pin DisplayPort end to your monitor or graphics card DisplayPort input. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate; enable DSC or appropriate display modes on the source or monitor if required. For multi-monitor configurations using MST, configure display settings in the operating system or graphics driver according to the graphics card documentation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance at high resolutions, use direct, short cable runs where possible and verify that both source and display firmware/drivers are up to date. If experiencing issues with maximum resolution or refresh rate, check display and GPU settings for DSC and MST options and test with alternative ports or cables to isolate the cause.
