DisplayPort-kabel Sharkoon 1.3 4K 5 m — DisplayPort 1.3, 4K-ondersteuning, 5 m lengte

DisplayPort cable Sharkoon 1.3 4K 5 m is a 5-metre DisplayPort video cable designed to transmit high-resolution video between compatible PCs, graphics cards and monitors. The cable follows the DisplayPort 1.3 specification and supports 4K resolutions, making it suitable for desktop systems, workstations and presentation setups that require a stable long-reach digital connection.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable provides 4K-capable digital video transmission over a 5 m length while maintaining signal integrity in typical home and office environments. Its adherence to the DisplayPort 1.3 standard ensures compatibility with devices that support that specification and enables higher bandwidth compared with older DisplayPort revisions. The cable’s length allows flexible monitor placement and cleaner workstation layouts without relying on adapters or complex signal extenders.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a 4K monitor at a distance up to 5 m
• Multi-monitor desktop setups where a longer cable run is needed
• Office workstations and home offices requiring a single-cable digital connection
• Presentations and meeting rooms where the source and display are separated

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort (DisplayPort 1.3 specification)
• Maximum supported resolution: 4K (3840×2160) at compatible refresh rates per DP 1.3 capability
• Length: 5 metres
• Cable type: Digital video cable suitable for video and audio transmission over DisplayPort
• Connector configuration: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the DisplayPort output on your computer or graphics card and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure both devices support DisplayPort connections and set the display input source to DisplayPort if needed. After connection, configure resolution and refresh rate in the operating system display settings to match the monitor’s native 4K capabilities. For stable performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable path.

Recommendations

For optimal results, verify that both source and display devices support the DisplayPort 1.3 feature set and 4K resolution at your desired refresh rate. Use direct connections where possible; if adapters are required (for example, to HDMI), check the adapter’s specifications for supported resolutions and refresh rates. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and route it so connectors are not strained.
