DisplayPort-kabel Sharkoon 1.4 8K, 1 m, zwart

DisplayPort cable Sharkoon 1.4 8K, 1 m, black is a DisplayPort 1.4 connection cable designed to transmit high-resolution video and audio signals between a PC or graphics card and a monitor. With a 1-meter length and a black jacket, the cable supports high bandwidth required for 8K video and high refresh rates when used with compatible devices. The construction focuses on stable signal transmission and a secure fit to reduce the risk of accidental disconnection during use.

Advantages

The DisplayPort 1.4 specification enables transmission of high-resolution video, HDR metadata and multi-channel audio over a single cable, supporting up to 8K resolution with appropriate hardware. The 1 m cable length offers convenient routing on a desk while minimizing excess cable clutter. The connector design ensures a reliable mechanical connection and stable contact, which helps maintain consistent image and sound quality during gaming sessions, professional work or video playback.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop PC or laptop equipped with a DisplayPort output to a high-resolution monitor
• Gaming setups requiring high refresh rates and low-latency display connections
• Professional monitors used for photo and video editing that demand accurate signal transmission
• High-resolution video playback and multimedia systems supporting 4K/8K content

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort 1.4 compatible
• Maximum resolution support: up to 8K (dependent on source and display capabilities)
• Length: 1 meter
• Cable color: black
• Supported features: HDR metadata, multi-channel audio, high refresh rates where supported

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the DisplayPort output on your PC or graphics card and the other end to the DisplayPort input on your monitor. Ensure both connectors are fully seated to secure a stable electrical contact. After physical connection, configure the display resolution and refresh rate in your operating system or graphics driver settings to match the capabilities of the monitor and GPU. For HDR content, enable HDR in both the operating system and the display settings if required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this DisplayPort 1.4 cable with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort 1.4 features. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. When using high resolutions or high refresh rates, verify that both the source device and the monitor firmware/drivers are up to date to ensure compatibility.
