DisplayPort-kabel ShiverPeaks BS30-151005 100 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS30-151005 DisplayPort cable is a 100 m long, 4.8 mm diameter cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends. Designed for transmitting digital video and audio signals over extended distances, this black cable supports reliable connections between source devices and displays in environments where longer runs are required. The simple construction and standard DisplayPort terminations make it compatible with monitors, graphics cards, docking stations and professional AV equipment that accept DisplayPort inputs and outputs.

Advantages

This cable provides a long-reach DisplayPort connection without intermediate signal converters, reducing signal interruptions and simplifying installation. Its 4.8 mm diameter balances flexibility and durability for routing through cable trays or along walls. The consistent DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort interface ensures plug-and-play compatibility with devices that use the DisplayPort standard. The black finish offers a discreet appearance for professional or residential installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to distant monitors in offices or control rooms
• Home theater or media rooms requiring a long cable run between source and display
• AV installations in conference rooms, classrooms, or event spaces
• Temporary or permanent setups where a single continuous DisplayPort run is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m
• Diameter: 4.8 mm
• Connector type: DisplayPort on both ends
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable from the source device to the display, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks to preserve signal integrity. Firmly insert the DisplayPort connector into the source and display ports until the latch engages, if present. For long runs, ensure both endpoints are powered and configured for the desired resolution and refresh rate in the device settings. If signal quality issues occur, verify connectors are fully seated and inspect the cable for mechanical damage.

Recommendations

For optimal performance over a 100 m run, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep a reasonable distance from large electrical equipment. Use gentle bends, secure with cable ties or clips where necessary, and inspect connectors before and after installation to maintain a stable DisplayPort connection.
