DisplayPort-kabel VALUE 14.99.3468 30 m zwart

The VALUE 14.99.3468 DisplayPort cable is a 30 m active fiber optic cable (AOC) with DisplayPort connectors on both ends, designed for high-resolution video and audio transmission up to UHD 7680x4320 at 60 Hz. Its active design eliminates the need for an external power supply, and the slim cable diameter makes it suitable for installation in cable ducts and longer AV runs where copper cables are impractical.

Advantages

The active fiber construction supports long-distance transmission without signal degradation and delivers UHD 8K resolution at 60 Hz. The cable’s slim profile and light weight (0.82 kg) simplify routing through cable trays and conduits. Both ends use standard DisplayPort connectors, ensuring compatibility with monitors, projectors and graphics outputs that support DisplayPort.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers to monitors or projectors over long distances
• AV installations in conference rooms, classrooms and auditoriums
• Routing through cable ducts and conduits where space is limited

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, laptop or graphics output) and the other to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or projector. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate. Route the cable through ducts or conduits as needed; the active fiber design means no external power supply is required. If image or audio settings need adjustment, configure output resolution and audio output in the source device’s display settings.

Recommendations

For reliable 8K/60Hz transmission, use compatible DisplayPort ports on both devices and avoid sharp bends in the cable; maintain gentle curves when routing through cable trays or ducts.
