Domecamera Avigilon H6SL 3MP outdoor IR (model 3.0C-H6SL-DO1-IR)

Avigilon H6SL 3MP Outdoor IR dome camera delivers 3-megapixel resolution and built-in infrared illumination for reliable day and night surveillance. The compact weather-resistant housing is designed for outdoor use at building entrances, perimeters and parking areas, enabling continuous recording and remote monitoring through compatible network video systems. The camera supports clear color imaging in daylight and enhanced black-and-white detail in low-light conditions using integrated IR.

Advantages

The camera combines a 3MP sensor with integrated IR to provide detailed imaging across a wide field of view while maintaining visibility in low-light and no-light situations. Its outdoor-rated housing protects internal components from moisture and dust, and the dome form factor reduces vandalism risk and offers discreet placement. Network compatibility allows centralized recording, remote access and integration with existing surveillance platforms.

Suitable for

• Perimeter surveillance of commercial and industrial sites
• Monitoring building entrances and access points
• Parking lots and vehicle circulation areas
• Continuous security recording and remote monitoring

Key specifications

• Sensor resolution: 3 megapixels
• Optics: fixed or varifocal lens options depending on installation (field-adjustable)
• Infrared illumination for low-light and no-light operation
• Outdoor-rated dome housing with weather and dust protection
• Network video compatibility for remote viewing and centralized recording
• Wide dynamic range and image processing for improved scene detail

How to use

Install the dome camera at the chosen mounting point on a wall or ceiling, ensuring a clear unobstructed view of the monitored area. Connect the device to your network and power source following the manufacturer's installation guidelines and local electrical codes. Configure camera settings—resolution, exposure, IR mode and network parameters—through the compatible video management system or web interface to match the surveillance requirements. Position the lens and adjust the field of view to cover critical areas, then verify day and night image quality and recording schedules.

Recommendations

Place the camera at a height and angle that balance coverage and image detail; avoid direct exposure to strong light sources that can cause glare. For optimal night performance, ensure the IR illumination range covers the target area without obstructions. Regularly clean the dome housing to maintain image clarity and schedule firmware updates via the network interface to keep security and compatibility up to date.
