IP-bewakingscamera TP-Link Tapo C425 KIT draadloos buiten

The TP-Link Tapo C425 KIT wireless outdoor IP security camera provides continuous solar-powered operation with flexible installation options. Its design allows the solar panel to be mounted directly on the camera for a compact look or connected via a 4‑meter cable to place the panel separately for better sun exposure. The camera delivers 2K QHD resolution (about 1.7× more pixels than 1080p) for clearer video and sharper photos, and a 150° field of view for wide coverage.

Advantages

The camera offers full‑color day and night imaging using built‑in spotlights and a starlight sensor to improve low‑light detail. Integrated AI detection distinguishes people, pets, and vehicles to reduce false alerts. The unit supports wireless connectivity and is designed for outdoor ceiling or wall mounting in a weather‑resistant white bullet form factor.

Suitable for

• Home perimeter and yard monitoring
• Driveway and vehicle surveillance

Recommendations

For reliable continuous solar power, install the solar panel with an unobstructed view of the sun and check the panel angle seasonally. Place the camera at a height and angle that maximizes the 150° field of view while avoiding direct bright lights that may reduce image contrast.
