TP-Link INSIGHT S445 turret IP-beveiligingscamera buiten 2688 x 1520 pixel plafondmontage

The TP-Link INSIGHT S445 is an outdoor IP security camera with a 2688 x 1520 resolution and a turret design for ceiling mounting. It provides a 100° horizontal, 54° vertical and 118° diagonal field of view and uses a CMOS sensor to deliver clear footage. With detection up to 64 m, observation up to 27 m and recognition up to 13 m, the wired camera is suitable for perimeter surveillance and outdoor monitoring in varied lighting conditions.

Advantages

The camera supports people and vehicle analytics for fast post-event search and filtering by multiple attributes, and it performs human and vehicle classification to reduce false alarms. True WDR processes multiple exposures to balance bright and dark areas in high-contrast scenes. Smart IR adjusts infrared illumination to avoid overexposure and glare at different distances, while 3D DNR reduces image noise across frames to preserve detail. White balance maintains neutral whites under varying light. Efficient H.265+ compression reduces required bandwidth and storage compared with H.264 and H.265.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter surveillance
• Parking lots and vehicle access points
• Entrance and walkway monitoring
• Commercial and residential exterior security

How to use

Mount the turret camera on a suitable ceiling or overhang using appropriate screws and anchors for outdoor installation. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable Ethernet network or to a wired power and network source according to the installation guide. Configure the camera through the TP-Link management interface or compatible NVR software, set motion detection and analytics parameters, and adjust WDR, Smart IR and white balance as needed for the scene. Verify detection, observation and recognition distances by testing at different ranges.

Recommendations

Install the camera at a height and angle that provide unobstructed views of target areas; avoid pointing directly at intense light sources. For best results enable H.265+ compression to reduce storage use, and periodically check firmware for updates to maintain analytics accuracy and image quality.
