Omschrijving

The TP-Link VIGI InSight S445S is an outdoor wired IP security camera with 2688 x 1520 resolution designed for ceiling or wall installation. It uses a CMOS sensor and AI-powered image processing to provide clear, high-definition monitoring in low-light environments, with a wide horizontal field of view and ultra low-light sensitivity down to 0.0005 lx.

Advantages

This camera delivers full-color imaging in very low light without the need for extra fill lights, reducing energy use and insect-triggered false alarms. Intelligent IR-white lights automatically activate when people or vehicles are detected in complete darkness to provide vivid color footage and deterrence. AI detection and video-enhancement technologies such as True WDR, Smart IR, 3D DNR and white balance improve detection accuracy and image clarity. H.265+ compression lowers bandwidth and storage requirements while preserving image quality.

Suitable for

Perimeter and property monitoring around homes and small businesses
Entrances and driveways where people and vehicle detection is needed
Outdoor areas requiring continuous low-light surveillance

How to use

Mount the camera on a ceiling or wall according to the included installation instructions and connect it to a wired Ethernet network for power and data. Access live view and configure AI detection, alert rules and recording settings through the VIGI management software or compatible TP-Link app. Adjust angle and ensure the lens has an unobstructed view of the monitored area. Configure H.265+ compression and storage settings on the recorder or NVR to optimize bandwidth and disk usage.

Recommendations

For best performance, position the camera to minimize direct exposure to bright lights and reflective surfaces, keep the lens clean, and enable people/vehicle attributes filtering to reduce false alarms. Use H.265+ compression to conserve storage and set intelligent IR-white light triggers to balance visibility and deterrence during complete darkness.
