Draadloze bridge Ubiquiti NanoBeam 2AC 2,4 GHz WLAN

The Ubiquiti NanoBeam 2AC is a compact wireless bridge (CPE) operating in the 2.4 GHz band. It combines radio and antenna in a single integrated housing to deliver directed RF transmission, Ethernet connectivity (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for simplified installation. The unit is designed for efficient space usage and low power consumption (maximum 7.5 W), and is finished in white.

Advantages

The NanoBeam 2AC provides improved noise immunity by focusing RF energy into a narrow beam, which spatially filters interference from nearby signals. Its integrated radio-and-antenna design increases efficiency and reduces the physical footprint compared with separate components. Gigabit Ethernet and PoE capability simplify deployment and cabling.

Suitable for

• Wireless bridging between buildings or network segments
• Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links in suburban or semi-urban areas
• Environments with limited mounting space requiring a compact CPE

Key specifications

• Frequency band: 2.4 GHz
• Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports: 1 (10/100/1000 Mbit/s)
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• Maximum power consumption: 7.5 W
• Colour: White
• Weight: 0.53 kg

How to use

Mount the NanoBeam 2AC on a suitable outdoor or indoor location with clear line of sight to the remote radio. Connect the unit to your network using the RJ-45 Ethernet port and supply power via a compatible PoE injector or PoE switch. Align the device to the counterpart unit to achieve optimal signal strength, then configure network settings and wireless parameters through the Ubiquiti management interface.

Recommendations

For best performance, install the NanoBeam 2AC where the beam path is free from obstructions and away from dense RF noise sources. Use a stable mount and verify alignment after initial configuration. Ensure PoE equipment matches the device’s power requirements.
