Draadloze HDMI-extender-set DIGITUS DS-55359 — 4K/60Hz, 150 m, AV-zender & -ontvanger

DIGITUS DS-55359 is a wireless HDMI extender set that transmits HDMI video and audio signals in up to 4K UHD (4096 x 2160, 60 Hz) resolution between a source and a display over distances of up to 150 m in unobstructed line of sight. The set includes one AV transmitter and one AV receiver in a compact ABS housing (34 × 91 × 15 mm) with USB-C power input, an action button and LED status display. The system uses IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac in the 5 GHz band, H.265 compression and supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 for playback of protected content.

Advantages

The point-to-point design provides a stable, low-latency wireless link between source and display with typical transmission latency around 100 ms. Plug & Play operation requires no drivers or software while automatic pairing selects the best Wi‑Fi channel for optimal performance. AES 128-bit encryption combined with WPA2 authentication protects transmitted content. Small form factor and USB-C power make installation flexible and discreet for rooms where cable routing is impractical.

Suitable for

• Conference rooms for wireless presentations and video playback
• Classrooms and lecture halls to connect laptops to projectors or displays
• Home cinema installations and living rooms to stream UHD content without long HDMI cables
• Retail or digital signage applications requiring a clean, cable-free installation
• Temporary setups and event locations where fast deployment is needed

How to use

Connect the transmitter to the HDMI output of the source device and plug the receiver into the HDMI input of the display. Power both units via USB-C using a 5 V / 2 A power source. After powering on, the units will automatically pair and select the most suitable Wi‑Fi channel; monitor the LED indicators to confirm connection status. For best results keep a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver and avoid placing units behind metal objects or thick walls.

Recommendations

For reliable performance at the specified maximum distance, position transmitter and receiver with unobstructed line of sight and ensure the antenna is unfolded. Indoor environments with walls, glass or other obstructions will reduce range—test placement before permanent installation. Use USB-C power supplies rated 5 V / 2 A and connect HDMI source devices that output at resolutions supported by HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.
