Draadloze rook- en koolmonoxidemelder Ajax WRL FIREPROTECT 2 SB/CO wit (model 63218)

Ajax WRL FIREPROTECT 2 SB/CO is a wireless combined smoke (fire) and carbon monoxide detector in a white finish, designed for domestic and commercial safety. The detector continuously monitors air for smoke and elevated CO levels and transmits alerts to the Ajax security system and connected devices. Battery-powered with a compact form factor, it is suitable for early warning to reduce the risk of fire and carbon monoxide poisoning and supports simple mounting using the supplied SmartBracket panel.

Advantages

The device integrates dual sensing for smoke and CO in a single unit, reducing the need for separate detectors while maintaining independent detection channels for each hazard. Wireless connectivity enables remote notifications and system integration without additional wiring. The detector’s compact dimensions and included SmartBracket mounting panel simplify installation. Long-life non-replaceable lithium batteries provide continuous operation within the specified temperature range, and the white finish allows unobtrusive placement in most interiors.

Suitable for

• Homes and apartments for early smoke and CO detection
• Offices and small commercial premises requiring integrated fire and CO monitoring
• Rental properties where easy installation and maintenance are preferred
• Multi-room systems as part of an Ajax security setup

Key specifications

• Detector type: Combined smoke (fire) and carbon monoxide detector
• Operating temperature range: 0°C to +50°C
• Power supply: 2 non-replaceable lithium batteries
• Colour: White
• Dimensions: 44 × 86 × 86 mm

How to use

Mount the detector on a ceiling or wall according to the installation kit and align it with the supplied SmartBracket. After inserting the batteries (factory-installed) and attaching the device, register it in the Ajax security system using the control app to enable alarm reporting and remote notifications. Place the detector in locations recommended for smoke and CO monitoring — away from drafts, heat sources and excessively humid areas — and ensure regular system checks through the Ajax app to verify connectivity and detector status.

Recommendations

Install detectors in sleeping areas, near kitchens but not directly above cooking appliances, and at least one unit on each floor. Test detector operation after installation via the Ajax app and follow local regulations for smoke and CO detector placement. Replace the entire detector when it reaches the end of its service life or when the device indicates failure; observe safe disposal procedures for lithium batteries built into the unit.
