Rookmelder Spring 0 WLAN fotoelektrisch wit

Spring photoelectric smoke detector model 0713239860351 in white is a ceiling- or wall-mountable device that uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke from smoldering fires. The unit includes WiFi connectivity for sending wireless alarm notifications and integrates into home or small commercial safety setups. Designed for straightforward installation and continuous monitoring, the device offers audible and remote alerts to support faster response in case of smoke incidents.

Advantages

The photoelectric sensing method improves detection of slow, smoldering fires while reducing false alarms caused by cooking or steam compared with some ionization-based detectors. WiFi connectivity enables remote alarm notifications and potential integration with smart home systems for centralized monitoring. The compact white design allows unobtrusive placement on ceilings or walls and the unit operates continuously to provide real-time smoke detection.

Suitable for

• Residential rooms and apartments
• Small offices and retail spaces
• Hallways and stairwells where early smoke detection is important
• Remote monitoring via WiFi when immediate on-site response may not be available

Key specifications

• Detection technology: photoelectric smoke sensor
• Connectivity: WiFi for wireless alerts
• Form factor: ceiling or wall mount, compact round housing
• Color: white finish for unobtrusive installation
• Alarm output: built-in audible alarm
• Power: designed for continuous operation (refer to manufacturer for exact power type and battery requirements)

How to use

Install the detector on a ceiling or high on a wall following the manufacturer's mounting instructions and local building codes, avoiding locations near windows, doors, or ventilation ducts that can affect sensing. Connect the device to the local WiFi network using the companion setup procedure to enable remote notifications. Test the alarm after installation using the device test function and verify that the audible alarm and remote alerts are received. Replace batteries or service the unit according to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule to ensure continuous operation.

Recommendations

Place the detector at least 30–50 cm from walls when mounted on the ceiling and avoid installation in kitchens or bathrooms where regular cooking fumes or steam may cause nuisance alarms; instead, position detectors near sleeping areas and on each level of a building for optimal coverage. Regularly test the unit, keep firmware and app connections updated, and replace batteries or service components as specified by the manufacturer.
