How to use

Place the PORTY-8A on a stable surface or mount it on a suitable stand if required. Connect a microphone to the microphone input and adjust gain and level on the integrated mixer. For music playback, pair a Bluetooth source device with the speaker following the Bluetooth pairing procedure; alternatively connect a line-level source to the line input. Power the unit from mains or a compatible battery pack, then set the volume and tone controls to match the room acoustics. Position the speaker to minimise feedback and ensure even coverage of the listening area.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the system at moderate volume levels to avoid driver overload in confined spaces. When using wireless Bluetooth sources, ensure the source device is within recommended range and keep firmware updated. For speech reinforcement, place the microphone slightly off-axis from the speaker to reduce the risk of feedback.
