DRAKA TOUGHCAT MUD Cat.7 S/FTP 4-pair 0.27mm² PUR-kabel, 500m trommel, zwart

Standard Cat.7 cables crack and degrade under mechanical stress, oil, and UV exposure—the DRAKA TOUGHCAT MUD thrives. Built for industrial automation, outdoor installations, and harsh environments, this 500-metre drum combines 10-Gigabit performance with a mud-resistant, oil-resistant, and UV-stable PUR jacket. Its S/FTP shielding and solid bare copper conductors ensure signal integrity even in electrically noisy settings.

Highlights

• Category 7 performance up to 600 MHz and 10GBASE-T
• S/FTP shielding: individual foil pairs plus overall braid screen
• 4 pairs of solid bare copper, 0.27 mm² (approx. AWG 23/1)
• Rugged PUR jacket: abrasion, oil, UV, and mud resistant
• Halogen-free and flame retardant (IEC 60332-1-2)
• Supports PoE up to IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++)
• Wide operating temperature: -40°C to +80°C
• 500-metre drum for professional installations

In daily use

Deploy this cable in machine halls, process plants, or outdoor conduits without worrying about jacket cracking, oil degradation, or signal loss. The 8.0 mm outer diameter balances flexibility with robustness, while the 100-ohm impedance and full Cat.7 compliance ensure compatibility with high-speed Ethernet, industrial protocols, and PoE-powered devices. The black PUR jacket stays intact in muddy, wet, and sun-exposed locations, reducing maintenance and replacement cycles.
