Drums Brother DR-1090 origineel, laser, paginabereik 10.000

The Brother DR-1090 printer drum is an original replacement component designed for select Brother monochrome laser printers. Compatible with DCP-1622WE, HL-1222WE, DCP-1623WE and HL-1223WE models, the drum works together with toner to transfer sharp text and clear images onto paper. Manufactured to Brother specifications, this drum supports consistent print quality across a high number of pages and is intended for straightforward installation and reliable operation in home and small office environments.

Advantages

The original Brother DR-1090 drum provides consistent image transfer, helping to maintain uniform density and sharpness throughout a print run. Its construction is matched to Brother toner chemistry and printer mechanics, which reduces the risk of print defects and helps preserve the lifetime of the associated components. With a rated yield of approximately 10,000 pages, the drum offers predictable replacement intervals and supports efficient document production without frequent interventions.

Suitable for

• Home printing of documents and homework
• Small office environments with moderate monochrome print volumes
• Replacement maintenance to restore print quality in compatible Brother printers

How to use

Turn the printer off and open the front cover according to the printer user guide. Remove the used drum unit together with the toner cartridge as described in the printer manual, then extract the toner from the old drum if required. Unpack the replacement DR-1090, remove protective seals or covers, and insert the new drum unit into the printer until it clicks into place. Reinstall the toner cartridge if it was separated, close the front cover and power the printer on. Allow the printer to initialize and run any recommended cleaning or calibration cycles before normal use.

Recommendations

Store the drum in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. Use genuine Brother toner supplies and follow the printer maintenance instructions to achieve the expected page yield and consistent print quality. Replace the drum when print quality shows signs of decline such as streaks, uneven density, or repeated defects.
