DSIT CAT 6 netwerkkabel LSOH - S/FTP - 7,5 m - violet

Network administrators and IT technicians often need a dependable patch cable that can handle high-speed data transfers without compromising on safety or performance. The DSIT CAT 6 Network Cable LSOH delivers exactly that, with a 7.5-meter length that reaches across server rooms, connects workstations to wall outlets, or links switches in structured cabling systems. Its violet jacket makes it easy to identify among other cables, while the low-smoke zero-halogen (LSOH) material ensures that in the event of a fire, toxic fumes and corrosive gases are minimized—an essential feature for offices, schools, and public buildings.

Why choose it

This cable is built for reliability in demanding network environments. The S/FTP construction—each twisted pair individually foil-shielded plus an overall braided screen—virtually eliminates alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable 10-Gigabit connections. The stranded copper conductors provide flexibility for frequent re-routing without breakage, and the LSOH jacket adds a critical safety layer for enclosed or high-occupancy areas. Whether you're upgrading an office LAN or setting up a high-density patch panel, this cable delivers consistent performance and peace of mind.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers to switches in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed workstation links for CAD, video editing, or large file transfers
• Structured cabling in commercial buildings requiring LSOH compliance
• Home office or gaming setups needing low-latency, high-bandwidth connections
• Temporary network deployments for events or testing environments

Good to know

The violet colour is not just aesthetic—it helps with cable management and quick identification in complex installations. The LSOH jacket meets stringent fire safety standards, making it suitable for use in plenum spaces and public venues. The cable is fully backward compatible, so it will work with existing Cat5e infrastructure while future-proofing your network for faster speeds. Each end is terminated with a snagless boot to protect the locking tab during installation and removal.
