DSIT CAT 6a S/FTP LSOH netwerkkabel, 3m, zwart

For high-density 10 Gigabit installations where safety and signal integrity are non-negotiable, this DSIT CAT 6a patch cable stands apart with its S/FTP construction and LSOH jacket. Unlike standard UTP cables, each twisted pair is individually foil-shielded and the entire bundle is wrapped in a braided screen, virtually eliminating alien crosstalk and EMI. The low-smoke zero-halogen jacket means that in the event of fire, it emits no corrosive or toxic fumes, making it suitable for public buildings, data centres, and enclosed spaces.

Highlights

• Category 6a performance: supports 10GBASE-T up to 500 MHz bandwidth.
• S/FTP shielding: foil around each pair plus overall braid for superior noise immunity.
• LSOH jacket: low smoke, zero halogen for enhanced fire safety.
• 3-metre length, black colour, stranded copper conductors (AWG 26/7) for flexibility.
• RJ45 male connectors on both ends, wired to TIA/EIA-568B.

In daily use

This cable is ideal for connecting servers, switches, and patch panels in high-speed networks. Its robust shielding ensures stable 10G links even in cable-dense racks, while the LSOH jacket provides peace of mind in compliance-driven environments. The stranded conductors make it easy to route through tight spaces without kinking, and the snagless boots protect the locking tabs during frequent moves.
