DSIT DANICOM CAT6 outdoor UTP-kabel – 50 m, zwart, 100% koper (DC-OUT-60-500)

Exposed to the elements, standard network cables quickly degrade, causing signal loss and connection failures. The DSIT DANICOM CAT6 Outdoor UTP Cable solves this by providing a rugged, weatherproof solution for reliable high-speed networking in outdoor environments. With a length of 50 meters, this black cable is built with 100% copper conductors and a UV-resistant PE jacket, ensuring stable performance even in direct sunlight, rain, or temperature extremes.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for network installers, IT professionals, and DIY enthusiasts who need to extend their network outdoors—whether connecting buildings, setting up IP cameras, or providing internet to a garden office. It's also suitable for direct burial or conduit installation, making it a versatile choice for permanent outdoor links.

Main features

• CAT6 performance with up to 250 MHz bandwidth, supporting Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters and 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 55 meters.
• Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) design with solid 23 AWG pure copper conductors for superior signal integrity and low attenuation.
• Durable black PE jacket with UV resistance and weatherproofing, rated for temperatures from -20°C to +60°C.
• Compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, ensuring compatibility with standard network equipment.
• Bulk cable without connectors, allowing custom termination with RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks as needed.

Tips

For outdoor installations, always use weatherproof RJ45 connectors and consider adding surge protection at both ends to safeguard your equipment from lightning-induced surges. When burying directly, place the cable in a conduit if possible to allow for future upgrades or repairs. Test the cable runs before finalizing the installation to ensure optimal performance.
