Network administrators and IT technicians often need a secure, space-saving enclosure for patch panels, switches, and small servers in offices, retail back rooms, or branch locations. The DSIT DS6418W 18U wall-mount cabinet answers that need with a lockable tempered-glass front door, removable side panels, and a clean white finish that blends into modern interiors. Its 600 mm width accommodates standard 19-inch equipment, while the 450 mm depth suits shallow networking gear and compact servers. With a static load capacity of 60 kg, it reliably supports a full rack of devices. Ideal use cases

• Wall-mounting network switches and patch panels in small offices or retail environments.
• Securing compact servers or NAS devices in branch offices with limited floor space.
• Organizing AV or security equipment in classrooms, conference rooms, or control rooms.
• Creating a tidy, lockable IT point in workshops or light industrial areas.

Good to know

The cabinet is designed for indoor use (IP20) and should be mounted on a suitable wall structure capable of supporting the combined weight of the cabinet and equipment. The included hardware covers standard installation; for concrete or hollow walls, use appropriate anchors. The passive ventilation is adequate for most networking gear, but if you plan to install high-heat equipment, consider adding optional fan units in the pre-cut openings.
