DVI-D-bus naar HDMI-A-stekker adapter, ACT, AB3765

The ACT DVI-D female to HDMI A male adapter (AB3765) converts a DVI-D Single Link (18+1) output to an HDMI Type A input, allowing connection of devices with DVI video outputs to HDMI displays. The compact adapter supports high-quality video transmission and is compatible with a wide range of DVI and HDMI equipment, supporting resolutions up to 1080p for clear digital video signal transfer.

Advantages

This adapter provides a simple, passive conversion between DVI-D and HDMI A connectors without requiring external power. Its compact form factor makes it portable and easy to install, while gold-plated contacts ensure reliable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. Being a direct connector adapter, it minimises signal loss for digital video up to Full HD.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer graphics card with DVI-D output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Attaching older DVI-equipped media players or set-top boxes to HDMI displays
• Temporary or mobile setups where a compact adapter is preferred

How to use

Insert the DVI-D male plug from your source device into the adapter’s DVI-D female connector, then plug the adapter’s HDMI A male connector into the HDMI input on your display or TV. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display to the correct HDMI input. The adapter is passive; no drivers or external power are required. Note that DVI-D carries video only; for audio you will need a separate audio connection or a source that outputs audio over HDMI.

Recommendations

Use short, well-shielded HDMI cables for best signal integrity. Verify your source device outputs digital DVI-D (not analog DVI-A or DVI-I without digital pins) to ensure compatibility. For resolutions above 1080p or for integrated audio over HDMI, consider using a dedicated converter or a device with native HDMI output.
